oh to have bags of moolah

Now I have often wondered the point of carrying a bag on your wedding day.  Yes one may need access to certain essentials such as lipstick or tissues and for me mattifying powder (as an aside could anyone tell me something which will take away my uber glow, save botox?) However I have always assumed that I could just leave such items lying around for me to pick up when needed.

Yet it was not until today that knew I really needed a bag!  It need not hold anything but oh my this is the one. Oh how you should live in my hands. Now the word perfection is bandied about far too often for my liking but darling clutch I simply adore you.

So if any of you were thinking of buying me a wonderful present, I assume there are legions of such wonderful people, you now know what to buy!

  2. That was just mean, sending me over to net-a-porter. Also, if you find anything to handle that glow that fits into your (fingers crossed) darling little clutch, please let me know. My glow would be very appreciative.

  3. If the queen was a wee bit punk she would carry that bag, it is awesome!

Don't cake your face up with too much powder btw, use a foundation like chanel lumiere (mattifying, and sticks) or estee lauder double wear and if you need to blot through the day with oil control blotting sheets - clinique and clean and clear do them, so do neurogena. They are brilliant, really work without messing up your makeup.

  4. I use Clean and Clear blotting sheets. They work really well. Of course, they remedy the problem, not prevent it.

I think I will also have some sort of clutch I'll ask a friend or family member to carry with my touch-up products inside. I definitely don't want to be responsible for it.

  6. That is a great clutch, definitely worth having! I think I might choose a clutch because I recently quit smoking, and I have an obsessive need now to have both of my hands occupied. One hand for a clutch - the other for Isaiah. haha. Good luck getting the clutch-o-matic of your dreams, that is an awesome bag!

  7. That is a pretty killer bag my friend. I love it, and you should have it! I've heard that carrying a bag on your wedding day is something you think would be a good idea but when it comes down to it, you never look inside, or use at all, and you have to drag it along all night long and it gets annoying. I'm thinking I'll probably give my essentials to a friend or bridesmaid to hold onto for when I need them? I don't know.

  8. You always find the most amazing stuff! I haven't considered having a bag for emergencies for our day at all but maybe I should. It's when you don't have it that you'll need it...

  13. Is it like uber expensive??

I have shiny face issues too. I had airbrush foundation for our wedding. What with the HEAT wave and the excess sweating - I STILL didn't look shiny. Was AMAZING. Wish I could do it every day. Would highly recommend it!

  15. Oh but I want one...I really want one. I hadn't considered the need for a bag until I saw this, and now, I really do NEED a bag. I was NEARLY persuaded by Cinnamon's perfect reasoning, that I don't need one after all. Then it occurred to me that the bag could be useful on other occassions (don't ask me when, but I'm sure it will happen), not just the wedding, so I really do NEED the bag afterall.

    What can I say - it's a rollercoaster.

  17. Fab bag but a little pricey!

I think a bag is necessary too; I had my lipstick and lipgloss in mine to re touch in the car journey as well as plasters! I did have blotting paper in mine but didnt end up using it!
