....so please don't!
I know I shouldn't care whether the Bean sees my dress before the wedding but I hardly ever super dress up so this archaic rule is kind of cute. I'm meeting with the dressmaker again on Friday so I will give you more details then. I promise! Obviously I could not leave you without a few thoughts. So here is my little inspiration board to whet your appetite!
What do you think? What would your board be filled with?

Oh, I love this. I love the feathers, the palest of pale pinks, the rich purples, and lovely satin. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I do not want the boy to see my dress before the big day. Luckily, he feels the same, because it's hanging about two feet from him, in the closet in his office.
so pretty and elegant. the styles are so you :)
ReplyDeleteLoving all the vintagey dresses in the inspiration board. Oh Anna, you are a gal after my own heart. I would buy a stingray for you ;)
ReplyDeleteIs that a sequined Jenny Packham I see? Love?
My board would be, what else? Vintage Glam all the way. And then Glam it up some more
ohhhhh... LOVE. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
ReplyDeleteah well you know my board already.
ReplyDeletethis looks good. i really love the casual look in the center worn with the leggings and from others i love the simple classic drape.
i am curious what your dress will look like in the end.
I love the look of the dress to the right of the "love me till my heart stops" picture! Beautiful
ReplyDeleteGreat board! Lots of ideas for the dressmaker to work off.. very interested to see what she comes up with..
ReplyDelete(also curious to know how you chose your dressmaker?)
Ooh puddle dresses! I love that style of dress, they just touch the floor in the tiniest of puddles around your feet.. so pretty! The colours are very Peonies and Polaroids; I am seriously hearting your board.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't not share pictures of my gown with my Mister, but I've only let him see the design online. He's not allowed to peek at the actual gown hanging in a garment bag in the spare bedroom.
Wonderful! Love it all. Have fun and keep us updated. x
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it. Like NOW!!!! exciting
ReplyDeleteanna...i love! i spy some claire pettibone in there...some of my faves!
ReplyDeleteSoon my lovelies!
ReplyDeleteAlso to find my dressmaker. I googled dressmakers in London, looked at their previous work and went for the first one who emailed me back! It could be the worst decision I've made so far! Time will tell!
